The Housekeeping Director is a working position. Participates in educational programs and in-services. Attends meetings as required. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department, including ordering supplies, managing expenses, equipment, staff schedules, staffing quality of work, and compliance with laws and protocols to ensure the safety and cleanliness for both our patients and our staff. Must be able to mentor staff in all areas, including work ethics and how to correctly clean and fulfill their duties. Must be willing to step in during shortages of staff, special projects, emergencies, and or other assigned duties. The expectation for this person is to be able to fluently assist with every aspect of the housekeeping team.

Requirements : High school education required. One year experience in healthcare strongly preferred. Experience in management role strongly preferred.
