Schedule Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM. Every other weekend and holidays are required. Job Description The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The nurse identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They develop and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through ongoing assessments, perform therapeutic nursing interventions, and manage care by documenting standards of care and practice. Responsibilities Initiate assessments based on patients' needs and problems, as well as physician medical diagnoses. Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovative care delivery practices. Provide patient-centric care aligned with the professional nursing practice model. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery. BLS-AHA certification required. New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required. NRP certification required. EPIC experience preferred.
