About the Role :
Lakeside School, an independent 5-12 coeducational day school located in North Seattle is currently recruiting for TWO Assistant Novice Crew Coaches for the spring season, February 23 – May 20, 2026. Practices are Monday through Friday, 3 : 30-6 : 15 pm. Candidates interested in working two or three days (rather than all five) are encouraged to apply. There are several weekend regattas with some overnight requirements.
Orientation meetings will take place on Monday, February 9, 3 : 30-7 : 30 pm.
Responsibilities
These coaches, reporting to the girls and boys crew program heads, will join an athletics program that includes 26 varsity teams, most of which have both sub-varsity and middle-school counterparts. The crew program supports varsity and novice teams which include Middle School students. These coaches will be responsible for coaching duties with their team, as well as other program-wide duties as assigned by the crew program heads. Specific responsibilities include.

Compensation
Stipend Range : $4500-$5000
We offer a stipend schedule that compares favorably with peer schools and clubs both locally and nationally. Coaching stipends are paid in monthly installments during the primary competition seasons. Other benefits include Lakeside Athletics apparel and access to funds for professional development.
