CME Associates, Inc. (CME) is an engineering technology firm providing comprehensive Construction Materials Evaluation and Technical Support Services. Our experts specialize in geotechnical engineering, construction materials evaluation, special inspections, geological sciences, subsurface exploration, and investigative engineering.

The Drill Helper will assist the Driller more easily perform geotechnical drilling tasks, working as part of a two-person team to perform field tasks including site layout, soil borings and sampling.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in performing drilling field tasks as directed by Driller
• Perform preventative maintenance & mechanical tasks, and preparation of necessary documentation
• Transfer vehicles between drilling and testing & inspection divisions as needed
Qualifications :
• HS Diploma
• Ability to lift, adjust, move & carry equipment & materials that weigh between 50-150 lbs.
• Required to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend or crawl regularly
• Familiarity with construction materials, procedures, and documents a plus
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Ability to be scheduled for overnight travel which is required and may vary from week to week
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions that vary between wet, dry, hot, cold, and snowy extremes
• Certifications for OSHA 10, CPR / First AID, OSHA 40 a plus; all field employees must complete OSHA 10 immediately upon hire if not yet completed

Compensation : $20 - 25 / hour
