Description :

The unit consists of 30 beds with a patient ratio of 1 : 6.

Staff includes Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, and Case Management.

Available medical equipment includes walkers, IV pumps, and SCDs.

The documentation system used is Meditech.

Scheduling requires 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule and participation in holiday rotation.

Staff may float to other units as part of the rotation.

The patient experience requirement is a score of 72%.

Advanced medical-surgical experience is essential, including familiarity with various respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin infusions.

Navy blue scrubs are the required uniform.
