About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Fundraising and Grants Management to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the administrative team, actively participating in strategic decisions and leading the organization's fundraising strategies. This includes the identification and submission of grant proposals, as well as the design and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy to expand individual, corporate, and civic giving. The role involves managing the full grant cycle, overseeing donor communications, and leading fundraising events. The VP will also be responsible for donor relationship management, supporting the Board Resource Development Committee, and ensuring the organization's mission is advanced through philanthropic support.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 5 years' professional development or fundraising experience in a nonprofit setting, and a proven track record in securing and managing grants. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is proficiency in donor database platforms. The role requires a candidate with a commitment to ethical fundraising practices, the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders, and a willingness to stay current with best practices in the field. The VP will also be expected to supervise and mentor direct reports, align efforts with the organization's strategic plan, and protect the confidentiality of all consumer and organizational information.
