Job Summary
The overall objective and purpose of the Turndown Attendant position are to refresh stay-over guest rooms in the evening hours to further enhance the guest experience. The incumbent is responsible for turning down linen on beds, replenishing towels and amenities, emptying trash, and creating a welcoming ambiance. They are to provide the highest level of service in support of the mission, core values, standards, and goals established by the company.
Core Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to the following :
Greet and interact with internal and external guests in a genuinely warm and friendly manner using professional and Kessler standard nomenclatureMaintain the integrity of the guests' privacy, including confidentiality of personal information and key controlTurn down beds and ensure lighting and music create the appropriate ambianceReplenish towels and amenities, placing them neatly and according to the standard operating procedureEmpty trash containers and debris from roomMaintain organization and supply of cleaning products and linenMaintain neat and orderly storage closetsUse software program to communicate any deficiencies in rooms and hallways, including but not limited to remote controls, TVs, light bulbs, plumbing, and repairsWork efficiently in order to meet daily requirementsRespond promptly to questions, concerns, and special requests. The follow-up to ensure the guest is satisfiedSolve problems proficientlySecure lost items according to the specificationsMaintain a neat and organized work areaAssist in laundry and other areas as neededMaintain the integrity of Company proprietary information and protect Company assetsMaintain complete knowledge in the use of equipment and property management systems and access according to specificationsMaintain complete knowledge and comply with company policies and proceduresMaintain neat, clean, and professional appearance according to standardsFollow all company safety and security policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditionsWelcome and acknowledge guests with disabilities and follow proper procedures to accommodate needs.Develop and maintain a positive working relationship and support the team to achieve our goalsAttend required training and meetingsAll other duties as assigned, planned or un-plannedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High school diploma, General Education Degree, or related training equivalent- requiredMinimum of 6 months of relevant work experience in similar scope and title requiredAbility to communicate in the English language - preferredWork Environment
