Job Title : Phlebotomist - Avondale PSCJob Description
Join our team as a Phlebotomist at our new Patient Service Center (PSC) in Avondale. You will be responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing in a patient-centered environment. Your role will include the collection and receipt of biological specimens, accurate entry into the computer system, preparation for analytical testing, and distribution to the appropriate analytical areas. You will also conduct specified analytical testing as assigned, adhering to our Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
Draw blood and collect biological specimens from patients.
Process specimens for analytical testing and ensure proper distribution to appropriate areas.
Enter specimen data accurately into the computer system.
Perform pre and post-analytical testing tasks.
Conduct assigned analytical testing following provided guidelines.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.
Experience with laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.
Competency in specimen processing and patient care.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
GED or High School Diploma required.
Work Environment
Work within a Patient Service Center alongside a team of two or more phlebotomists. The new location is at the intersection of Ave and McDowell Rd in Avondale, AZ. Tentative work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with availability required between 6 AM and 5 PM. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36 / hr.
