Job Title : Mechanical Test Engineer Working Pattern : Fulltime Working location : West Lafayette, Indiana We have an exciting opportunity as a Mechanical Test Engineer, where you will work with a team of test engineers to support subsystem and component testing. As a part of this role, you will plan design and execute subsystem level tests that support Rolls-Royce development programs. This role will focus heavily on gas turbine engine compressor testing, including design, development, and execution of compressor rig tests. What you will be doing : With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to :

• Plan and execute mechanical testing of subsystems and components; to include aerospace engine compressor rig testing.
• Design and construct test setups to achieve specified test results for customers
• Coordinate test readiness reviews, risk assessments and data review sessions
• Design, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electro-mechanical test systems, instrumentation, advanced data acquisition, and experimental test control systems
• Perform data analysis for troubleshooting test systems and present results to internal and external customers
• Manage facility assets and instrumentation, including tracking and coordinating calibration schedules and performing required periodic maintenance
