Unit Manager

EastersealsNH has an immediate opening for a Unit Manager in our Residential Educational Program. In this position you will oversee all units and staff by working closely with the Unit Supervisors, Directors and other staff. Additional responsibilities include :

Manage all crisis situations including, fire alarms, police involvement with clients, management of emergency medical situations.

Manage all family contacts regarding complaints and concerns.

Communicate daily information to each education setting for all clients, including transition time between school and program.

Collaborate with the clinical team to implement treatment in the residential program.

Be responsible for the implementation of the activity / group schedule for the residential program.

Prepare and maintain reports, ensuring compliance according to the requirements of the program. Write direct care schedules and provide staff support for other programs, as needed.

Supervise staff as assigned.

Provide input concerning written supervision and assist supervisors in addressing performance issues with direct care staff.

Work flexible direct care hours (in ratio), collaborating with the Director regarding days / times when oversight is most needed (Lancaster).

Be responsive to calls outside of scheduled work hours.

Maintain overall cleanliness of the building.

Qualifications : You must have an Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field, a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. You must also have 4 years of experience working with the targeted population, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation : Starting at $28 per hour.

Hours : Full Time, rotating schedule.
