This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Production Designer (Contract) in the United States.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Production Designer to help craft engaging experiences for students and educators. In this contract role, you will collaborate with a diverse cross-functional team of designers, developers, and curriculum experts to extend and improve digital and print curriculum materials. You will ensure high-quality execution across multiple formats, from interactive digital content to print deliverables, and maintain consistency with brand and style guidelines. This role demands a balance of artistic skill, technical expertise, and project management ability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position is expected to last until March 31, 2026.

Accountabilities :

The Production Designer will play a key role in creating polished educational experiences and maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities include :

  • Work on designs for teacher, student, and administrator experiences, as well as printed materials and curriculum content.
  • Manage the accuracy, quality, and development of final creative files for both print and digital deliverables.
  • Execute projects efficiently from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
  • Implement revisions quickly and accurately while raising concerns and proposing solutions as needed.
  • Apply brand and product style guides across multiple formats while preserving creative continuity.
  • Manage your own project schedules to meet deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in design, or equivalent certification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in production design.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Strong problem-solving, typography, design, and production skills.
  • Experience receiving and implementing design direction through layout revisions.
  • Ability to work within and expand upon dynamic visual and brand systems.
  • Knowledge of fast-paced print production and digital processes.
  • Skills in photographic selection, cropping, minor retouching, and low-fidelity comps creation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain consistent file organization.
  • Preferred : experience with Figma or other prototyping software, visual design in education technology, and enthusiasm for contributing to educational content.
