We are looking for an experienced Director of Supply Chain to join our team in the Fresno Area. In this role, you will oversee critical supply chain functions, ensuring seamless operations from procurement to delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic initiatives within the manufacturing industry while optimizing processes to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, warehousing, and material control.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize risks, improve supplier programs, and enhance overall efficiency within the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices in all procurement and materials management activities.
• Lead negotiations for major contracts and establish long-term vendor relationships to secure favorable terms.
• Partner with production and sales teams to create accurate demand plans that meet customer expectations while optimizing costs.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain a balance between sufficient stock for operations and minimizing obsolete items.
• Propose and execute process improvements to optimize planning, procurement, and warehousing functions across the organization.
• Manage departmental budgets and ensure alignment with organizational financial goals.
• Participate in product planning processes to ensure timely procurement of materials for new product launches.
• Utilize reporting tools to provide accurate and timely information that supports production planning and decision-making.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant tools for supply chain operations.
• Strong background in logistics, distribution, and purchasing management within manufacturing or food production industries.
• Proven ability to manage inventory effectively while minimizing risks and costs.
• Familiarity with food safety and service operations in compliance with industry standards.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with experience handling major contracts and supplier relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategies and drive continuous improvements across supply chain functions.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with production, sales, and other departments.
