Job Description
Lead, mentor, and develop the project management team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple concurrent construction projects.
Establish and monitor project management best practices, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure consistent delivery and profitability.
Review and approve project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, schedule, safety, and quality.
Ensure timely identification and resolution of project issues, disputes, and change orders.
Oversee project closeout and ensure accurate documentation, warranty, and compliance deliverables.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and public agencies.
Lead project presentations and progress meetings with owners and stakeholders.
Represent the company in preconstruction meetings, bid reviews, and negotiations as needed.
Drive standardization of project management tools, templates, and reporting systems.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
Proven success managing public works projects such as K-12 schools, higher education, or municipal facilities.
Strong knowledge of public contracting laws, requirements, and prevailing wage compliance.
Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities.
Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, and cost control.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
