Key Responsibilities :
Perform routine and preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areasLead and complete painting, drywall, and wall covering projects with a focus on quality and detailTroubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issuesMaintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the Engineering workshop and work areasAssist in larger renovation or improvement projects under direction of the Director of EngineeringRespond promptly and courteously to guest and team member maintenance requestsFollow all hotel safety procedures, including Lockout / Tagout, MSDS, and PPE complianceQualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum two (2) years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or engineering hotel experience preferredHands-on expertise in painting, drywall repair, wall coverings, and plumbing requiredBasic knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders and tools safely, and work in indoor / outdoor conditionsDoubleTree Suites by Hilton Phoenix is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
