Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver individualized nursing care utilizing the nursing process for emergency department patients.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions during their stay in the emergency department.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care activities thoroughly.
- Ensure adherence to all hospital and nursing unit protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
Current RN license registered in the state of Texas or a temporary permit to practice.Previous experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit is preferred.Up-to-date certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS certification required within one year.NIHSS certification must be obtained within six months of hire; maintain without lapse.Completion of TNCC certification within eighteen months and basic EKG / arrhythmia course within six months of employment.
