American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Waco, Texas.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and a current TX license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Outpatient orthopedic setting with a focus on musculoskeletal cases
  • Day shift schedule : 5x8s, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Virtual interview required
  • Black scrubs required
  • Responsibilities include evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients, as well as modifying therapy plans and goals
  • Involvement in patient and family education and timely clinical documentation
  • Regular supervision of support staff, students, and volunteers
  • Expected to advance clinical skills and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
  • Candidates with prior permanent employment at the facility may require additional eligibility verification

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active TX PT license required if applicable
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience required
  • Two professional references required
  • Flu vaccination required with no exemptions during flu season (typically August–November)
  • 50-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted
