Lightsource bp was fully acquired by bp in 2024. This is a hybrid position based in Austin, Denver or San Francisco

What You'll Do

• Lead tendering activity, bid review and normalization, comparison, and development of award recommendations for EPC contracts and, in some cases, O&M service contracts.
• Work within the Preconstruction and Tenders group of the EPC Department, and will work closely with Project Management and Engineering teams.
• Participate in marketing of project pipeline to EPC contractors.
• Drive relationship management with key EPC vendors, including coordinating regular touch point meetings at conferences and other settings.
• Prepare, distribute, and manage RFP packages for EPC services.
• Ensure that appropriate diligence is completed on the potential supplier base through company pre-qualification procedures.
• Interview and evaluate bidders, and work with all project stakeholders to reach award recommendations.
• Negotiate and execute LNTP Agreements, EPC Agreements, and other consulting and services contracts, including all supporting exhibits, as required.
• Ensure that contracts comply with technical and commercial requirements.
• Mentor, support, and guide junior team members.
• Build relationships with key internal stakeholders from Development, Project Management, Engineering, Safety and others.
