Job Description

Works with sales staff in promoting the sale of Amada equipment within assigned territory. Provides technical support to Sales Engineers, Regional Managers, and others. Assists Sales Engineers in all phases of sales activities. Provides training to new Sales Engineers. Makes recommendations and suggestions to Product Manager concerning improvement of programs and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides technical information to Sales Engineers and Product Managers.
• Maintains written activity reports, which are communicated to Product Manager.
• Prepares advance planning reports, including semester goals and strategies.
• Maintains regular contact and follow up with Sales Engineers and customers.
• Prepares relevant reports, when necessary.
• Provides on-site equipment support and demonstrations for customers.
• Responds to customer inquiries.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
