Job description

Brake Press Operator

2nd shift 3 : 30pm-2 : 00am

  • PAY
  • $19.00

A company in Santa Teresa, NM needs Brake Press Operators. Some the duties include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Programs for parts are input directly to the machine by the operator based on the blueprint.
  • Preparing the machine by loading tools :   punches and dies specific to the job requirements.
  • Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Use of PPE (Safety glasses / shoes, hard hat)

    • Skill Requirements :

  • Understand machine processes.
  • Understand blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ability to spot errors to ensure high quality standards
  • Basic math, reading and writing skills in English
