Staff Physician - Primary Care Provider

Position Title :   Staff Physician  -  Primary Care Provider

Reports To :   Medical Director

FLSA Status : Exempt

Job Type : Full-time & Part-time opportunities available

Position Summary :  The Staff Physician is a member of the CVIM medical team whose role is to provide both direct patient care through office visits and continuity of care for the entire patient population.

Major Responsibilities

• Provides primary care to patients through scheduled visits, urgent visits, and phone triage
• Provides continuity of care between scheduled visits by managing records, lab and imaging results, and specialty consults
• Provides patient education regarding results / consults and appropriate follow up
• Serves as a medical resource to clinical staff and volunteers
• Serves as a medical resource across CVIM teams (Front Desk, Dispensary, Patient Access)
• Supervises Advanced Practice Providers and RNs / MAs
• Works in collaboration with the Medical Director on projects to improve workflow efficiency and health metrics

Qualifications

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as authorized by the State Board of Medicine

Minimum 5 years of experience in comprehensive primary care

Demonstrated qualities of leadership, maturity, and integrity

Experience with EMRs

Preferred recent or current experience with underserved populations

Preferred practice experience with certified registered nurse practitioners and physician assistants

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Schedule

Monday to Friday (with some evenings and Saturdays)

Pay : $225,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
