This position will be hired on a SuccessFlex basis. The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location(s) :
Columbus : Three Nationwide Plaza, Columbus OH, 43215
Grandview : 1000 Yard Street Grandview OH, 43215
Work schedule : 3 days in office, 2 days remote. This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.

Job Description Summary : Do you love connecting and building new business relationships? Our Internal Sales & Service (ISS) team works with Financial Professionals to provide the right Nationwide products to people who need and want them. We count on our team members to represent Nationwide well in this important market and have a real desire to connect and help our customers. As a Territory Management Representative, you will perform a variety of outbound sales activities to build, grow and retain strategic relationships with financial professionals and administrators. Working with multiple wholesalers across the country, you will support the business unit sales goals by prospecting and scheduling appointments for your wholesalers to meet with financial professionals within their territories. Additionally, you will support promoting webinar events, making follow-up calls and providing financial professionals with product information and sales materials.

Reporting Relationships : Reports to Manager and does not typically have direct or indirect reports.
Typical Skills and Experiences :
Education : Undergraduate degree in Human Ecology, Business, Finance Communications, Marketing or other related field preferred.
Experience : Typically, 1 year experience in Customer Service, Sales or Sales Support role.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills : Strong interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships with Sales Partners and communicate verbally and in writing with other sales team members and partners across the company. Must be persuasive in their presentations and persistent in pursuing leads. Schedule presentations and prepare materials for presentations.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager's leader and HR Business Partner.
