State of Idaho Opportunity Criminal Investigator or Investigative Auditor, Criminal Law Division, Office of the Attorney General. Closing date : open until filled. Salary : $44.60 $49.06 hourly.
Primary duties include conducting interviews, obtaining and analyzing documents and other evidence, preparing detailed investigative reports and exhibits, maintaining investigative case files, testifying in court, and interfacing with other law enforcement and government agencies. Travel throughout Idaho is required.

Preference will be given to applicants who possess a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as health information management, accounting, healthcare administration, or criminal justice. A minimum of 5 years of investigative experience, preferably in Medicaid or healthcare fraud, financial crimes or white-collar investigations. Experience analyzing financial records, claims data, or medical billing. Proficiency in writing affidavits, subpoenas, and investigative reports. Experience testifying in court or administrative hearings. Knowledge of state and federal laws related to Medicaid, healthcare fraud, and abuse. Candidates with certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Professional Medical Auditors (CPMA) are highly encouraged to apply.
