Job description

Senior Accountant

Robert Half is hiring a senior accountant to join our full-time engagement professionals (FTEP) practice. This unique opportunity offers the stability of full-time employment with Robert Half, while allowing you to work on diverse and challenging accounting projects across a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities include :

  • Leading month-end and year-end close processes, including complex journal entries and reconciliations
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Managing general ledger activities and ensuring accuracy across multiple accounts
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Collaborating with client teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Mentoring junior accounting staff and contributing to knowledge sharing across engagements
  • Assisting with audit preparation and liaising with external auditors as needed

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in multiple industries or consulting environments is a plus
