What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

Monitor entry and exit points within the location, observing for suspicious behavior and reporting incidents according to established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Collaborate with retail staff and management to support a secure environment and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles only.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
