Job description

Cherry Picker Operator

We are seeking dedicated warehouse associates to assist with essential warehouse duties. Our team members play a vital role in ensuring efficient operations within our kit production department and other areas of our facility.

Responsibilities include :

  • Perform warehouse picks for both batch and transfer orders using RF scan technology.
  • Provide data entry for all received items into the Purchase Order software systems.
  • Communicate any problematic deliveries to the vendor, shipper, or appropriate buyer.
  • Notify the appropriate buyer and / or vendor of all received product compliance failures.
  • Perform cycle counts according to the departmental schedule.
  • Monitor and remove expired items and notify appropriate personnel for replacements.
  • Maintain and generate all month-end expired item reports for Warehouse items.

Essential skills include :

  • Experience using a cherry picker or stand-up reach forklift and not afraid of heights.
  • Experience with RF scan technology.
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Additional skills and qualifications include :

  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience in material handling and inventory management.
  • Experience with pallet jacks (both electric and manual) and other warehouse equipment.

    Work environment :

    Our operation is a large kit building and sample processing facility. Employees will move throughout the entire facility, including the lab, where lab coats and eye protection are required. We operate on a 6AM - 6PM or 6PM - 6AM 2 / 2 / 3 rotating schedule, including weekends.

    Job type and location :

    This is a contract to hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

    Pay and benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr.
