About Us : Construction Mechanics Inc. (CMI) is a leading staffing firm specializing in the construction industry. With a large client base across South Florida, we have several open positions available for skilled Commercial Electricians to work on projects in Stuart, FL, and surrounding areas.

Position Overview : We are seeking experienced Commercial Electricians - Helpers and Mechanics to join our team for a project in Stuart, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to work with reputable clients on long-term projects. The ideal candidates will have strong mechanical skills, the ability to read blueprints, and experience in commercial electrical work.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
  • Test and diagnose electrical systems, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Bend and install conduit and pull wire efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure full PPE is worn, including a harness.
  • Work collaboratively with a team and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements :

  • Mechanics : 3+ years of commercial electrical experience.
  • Helpers : 1+ years of commercial electrical experience.
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Must have reliable transportation and own power / hand tools.
  • Full PPE required, including a harness.
  • Ability to work a full 40-hour workweek from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.

    • Compensation :

  • Pay is dependent on experience : $27-$29 per hour.
