Project Manager – Architecture (Hybrid)

Overview

I'm partnering with a global design firm ranked among the top in the industry. The firm has a diverse portfolio and is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing Mission Critical team. This individual will oversee multiple architectural projects from early design through construction completion and will carry full responsibility for client satisfaction, project performance, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate is a licensed architect or senior leader with proven experience managing complex projects, mentoring staff, and strengthening client partnerships while upholding design and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships through a deep understanding of client goals and project objectives
• Manage the full project lifecycle - from programming and design through construction administration and post-occupancy evaluation
• Lead internal and consultant teams to coordinate design, documentation, and technical execution within project scope, budget, and timeline
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of construction documents, ensuring alignment with firm standards, quality expectations, and applicable codes
• Collaborate with leadership on project planning, scheduling, and staffing to meet deliverable and resource goals
• Support or lead client presentations, project reviews, and public hearings as needed
• Anticipate and address potential project risks, coordinating solutions with clients and internal teams
• Review and approve deliverables to ensure compliance with QA / QC standards and local regulations
• Mentor and support staff development through ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance guidance
• Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages open communication and creative problem-solving
• Track project budgets, schedules, and labor utilization, recalibrating as needed to meet goals
• Understand contracts and identify additional service opportunities as they arise
• Participate in business development efforts, including proposals, fee estimates, and client outreach for new and repeat work
