On Q Property Management is looking for a full-time Corporate Counsel to join our team in Gilbert, AZ!

The role provides comprehensive legal oversight for property management, real estate, and corporate operations, ensuring compliance and effective risk management while supporting strategic transactions and business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the companys primary legal advisor on all property management, real estate, and corporate matters.
- Manage disputes, including landlord / tenant issues, contract claims, and employment-related matters; oversee and direct outside counsel as needed.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including leases, vendor agreements, property management agreements, acquisitions, and dispositions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting property management, housing, real estate, and employment practices.
- Provide legal support for real estate transactions, including due diligence, financing, and risk assessment.
- Advise leadership and operational teams on landlord / tenant law, fair housing, evictions, and other property management issues.
- Develop and implement internal policies, compliance programs, and risk management strategies to minimize legal exposure.
- Support corporate governance, maintain company records, and provide training on compliance and legal best practices.

Job Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the Arizona BarStrong background in real estate law and property managementExperience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreementsKnowledge of federal, state, and local regulations affecting property management, housing, and fair housing compliance.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business advice.Strong business acumen and collaborative mindset to work effectively with executive leadership and operational teams.Preferred Qualifications
37+ years of litigation experience, from initiation through resolutionKnowledge of employment law, workplace policies, and compliancePrior in-house counsel experience in property management or relatedFamiliarity with multi-state real estate laws and regulatory requirementsExperience providing legal training or guidance to non-legal staffCompany Perks
