Position Summary :

The Lead Assembler oversees daily assembly operations, ensuring products meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives. This role combines hands-on assembly work with leadership responsibilities - providing guidance, training, and workflow coordination for the assembly team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and train assemblers on standard work instructions, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Coordinate daily assembly activities to meet production schedules and throughput targets.
  • Perform assembly and testing of products, ensuring compliance with specifications and documentation.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Quality to resolve build issues or implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure tools, materials, and workstations are organized and production-ready.

Qualifications :

  • 2-4 years of experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing or process improvement principles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or Associate degree preferred.

    • Pay Scale and Benefits : $19 - $21 per hour.
