About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12.5

Experience :

3+ years in Progressive Care Unit, Medical / Surgical, Telemetry experience required.

Experience in a Medical / Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required.

Previous travel experience highly preferred.

Rural / small facility experience highly preferred.

License :

Temporary Health Care Service Agency License / Registration Certificate required.

Must include location of permanent address in profile.

Certifications : ACLS (AHA)

BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

RTO requests must be noted upfront and verified.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Description :

This position is for holiday coverage.

Travelers are required to work two of the following : Thanksgiving and the weekend after.

Working on Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the weekend after is mandatory.

Availability for New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day and the weekend after is also required.

Candidates residing within a specified distance from the facility will not be considered.

The patient population includes newborns to geriatrics.

The RN / patient ratio is 5 : 1, depending on acuity.

Higher acuity Progressive Care Unit patients would be 3 : 1 or 4 : 1.

Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified.

Requests after submission will not be approved.

Five days or less of RTO will be approved for a 13-week assignment.

Dress code consists of personal scrubs of any color.

Basic dysrhythmia test is required in profile.

No call or call-back requirement for this need.

Candidates with scheduling requests or those wishing to work in conjunction with other assignments will not be considered.
