Administrative Support Assistant II, University of Arizona Cancer Center (Part Time)
The administrative position provides essential operational and logistical support to Population Sciences at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. The incumbent assists with scheduling, correspondence, purchasing, document preparation, and meeting coordination across multiple research projects. Working under the direction of the Project Director, the Administrative Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and supports research and grant initiatives led by senior faculty and staff.

Duties & Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for project leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel planning, and communication with internal and external collaborators.
Collect, organize and format project-related documents such as meeting minutes, reports, manuscripts, and grant materials under the supervision of the Project Director.
Assist with fiscal processes including purchase requests, reimbursements, and invoice tracking in coordination with the business office.
Support organized filing systems and assist with document control, team directories, and shared resources.
Support project events, workshops, and communications activities as assigned; provide back-up administrative support across related Cancer Center initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent organization, time management, and task prioritization.
Professional communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Teams.
Accuracy and consistency in document preparation and recordkeeping.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive materials.
Collaborative mindset with readiness to take direction and adapt to evolving project needs.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Compensation
$18.15-$22.69 hourly rate
