Business System Analyst / Data Analyst

Contract : 12 months

We are hiring a Business System Analyst / Data Analyst to join our team in Wisconsin!

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal resources as well as partner projects across the organization

nalyze existing data warehouses (Oracle, Snowflake) for impacts due to Workday changes

nalyze existing enterprise Tableau dashboards for impacts due to Workday changes

nalyze existing ancillary systems for impacts due to Workday changes

Catalog existing internal analysis tools and analyze for Workday impacts

Document system requirements and user stories

nalyze requirements against existing system configuration and Workday impacts to identify gaps and provide retrofit recommendations

Write test plans and coordinate testing with stakeholders

Update related documentation to capture retrofit changes

Participate in Workday pre-implementation preparation activities

Provide Workday post-implementation support and analysis

Required Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience as a technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Consultant

Experience gathering requirements, performing gap / fit analysis, and writing user stories

Experience working with data and reporting users to interpret needs, making system recommendations, and providing user support either through a project or managing a production backlog

Experience performing analysis in analytics and data management environments

Experience writing complex SQL or Python for data and system analysis

Experience writing test scripts and guiding users through testing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in higher education

Experience using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)

Workday implementation experience

Experience with data migration or transformations, including source system data mapping, translations, and cleansing

Experience performing system, quality, and / or smoke testing
