Service Cashier
Position Summary :
The Service Department Cashier is responsible for driving customer retention by offering a polite and professional conclusion to the service experience. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the growth of the dealerships service operations. This is a full-time position that also includes a rotating Saturday schedule.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collecting payment in card cash or check form.
- Understanding and applying customer coupons and GM Rewards.
- Making change accurately and maintaining an accurate and balanced cash drawer.
- Assisting customers in the waiting room with questions and / or concerns.
- Operating scanning system to scan closed repair orders into the dealership database
- Assist in dispatching drivers to pick up customer vehicles dealer trade vehicles parts etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.Strong customer service skills.Professional personal appearance.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.Basic computer proficiency.Clean driving record and background check.Compensation and Benefits :
