Description : Position Summary
Crouse Community Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated care team. This full-time salaried position requires weekend availability, with scheduled hours from 7 : 00 AM to 11 : 30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday (16 hours each day). The role offers Monday through Friday off. In this role, youll deliver the highest quality of care and services to our residents by safely administering medications and treatments, supervising CNAs, and supporting daily living activities. Youll help maintain a safe, organized, and compassionate environment that reflects our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
Medication Administration & Documentation
- Administer medications and treatments using the Six Rights of Medication Pass
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all medications
- Record refusals or missed doses per protocol
- Maintain strict confidentiality of resident information
- Count and verify narcotics with another Medication Care Nurse
Resident Care & Communication
Monitor residents conditions and assess needs for optimal careReview and update the Daily Log to stay informed of resident statusReport resident concerns to the Nurse Manager during medication roundsPromote the mission and values of Crouse Community Center in all interactionsSupervision & Compliance
Oversee and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as neededPractice standard precautions for hygiene and infection controlEnsure care aligns with facility policies and regulatory standardsWhy Crouse?
