We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Family Medicine in New Jersey
Locum Tenens Physician - Family Medicine
Position Type : Locum Tenens
Specialty : Physician - Family Medicine
Location : New Jersey
Shift : 4.5 days per week, 2 Saturdays per month
Start Date : ASAP
End Date : TBD
Position Details
Patient Population : Adult, Geriatric
Setting : Private Practice
Responsibilities : General Family Medicine Coverage
Required Procedures :
General : EKG Interpretation
Surgical : Incision & Drainage (I&D), Suturing of Minor Lacerations
Occupational Medicine : Employment Physicals, Diagnosis & Management of Common Industrial-Related Medical Problems, Disability Exams
EMR System : AthenaHealth
Support Staff : 2 Physicians in practice
Days Per Month : Full-time schedule as described
On-Call / Weekends : 2 Saturdays per month, no additional on-call requirements
Submission Requirements
Board Certified
Internal Medicine / Family Medicine - Required
Local providers only
Mileage reimbursement only - Required
Active NJ License
Required
Internal Credentialing
Must be completed with submitting agency - Required
Clean Background
Highly preferred
BLS Certification
Required
AthenaHealth Experience
Highly preferred
Recent Outpatient Experience in NJ
Highly preferred
Credentialed with BCBS NJ
