Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent permanent MS / Tele experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Med / Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am
  • Every other holiday coverage is required
  • Assessment testing will be completed during orientation with two attempts allowed
  • Annual modules and pre-start modules must be completed prior to start and are billable up to 4 hours
  • Permanent or per diem candidates must not return within 1 year of their previous end date at this health system
  • Fingerprints and badge pick-up must be completed onsite prior to start
  • The facility is temporarily exempt from nicotine-free requirements for nurses
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate

  • Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
  • A minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med / Surg Telemetry experience required
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications must be active, with no pending status
  • Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is required
  • One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor or director in Med / Surg Telemetry required for consideration
  • No open background check cases and no license hits allowed
