Full-time Janitor At Oak River Rehab

Location : Anderson, California Rate : $16.58 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties throughout the facility : sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, hallways, resident rooms, staff areas, and common spaces.
  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces and maintain hygiene standards to support a health-care environment.
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles, replace liners, clean trash collection areas.
  • Restock cleaning supplies, monitor supply inventory, and notify management of any supply or equipment needs.
  • Report maintenance or safety issues to ensure resident and staff safety.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules, health & safety protocols, and facility policies to maintain order and cleanliness.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (but not always required).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision while following directions.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks : standing, walking, bending, lifting up to moderate weight, and being on your feet for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness standards in a skilled-nursing / rehabilitation context.
  • Ability to work full time in Anderson, CA and adapt to scheduled shifts as needed.
  • Background check and drug screen may be part of the hiring process (common in health-care facility roles).
