Overview
Manufacturing Engineer with CNC programming experience needed for a full-time, direct-hire role in Salem, OH. Local client seeking an experienced candidate.
Requirements : 5+ years of experience with CNC programming and a bachelor's degree; or 7+ years of experience with a high school diploma or associate degree. Salary range : $85,000 – $110,000 per year. Benefits include 401(k) and full benefits; team-oriented work culture.
Responsibilities
- CNC program creation for new products using CAD / CAM (Siemens NX preferred).
- CNC program refinement and alterations to improve efficiency and quality.
- Coordinate, schedule, and act as liaison between production, maintenance, and contract personnel for installation and start-up of fabrication equipment and process projects.
- Coordinate engineering activities and designs for equipment utilization and optimization.
- Assist in developing preventive maintenance programs for fabrication equipment with operations and maintenance staff.
- Support robot to CNC coordination.
- Support measurement of machined products.
- Engage in process improvement activities (yield improvement, root cause analysis for repeat quality concerns).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
