Job description5+ years of experience leading the Inventory Control functions for a distribution and / or fulfillment center. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding expectations. A solid history of developing other leaders to a promotional level. A strong proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft applications, and RF scanning devices. Knowledge of processes and flow of an automated distribution center. Ability to troubleshoot PC and RF devices.
Description and Responsibilities :
My client is seeking an Inventory Control and WMS Administrator for their 1M Sq Ft distribution center. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
- Configure, monitor, and manage the overall performance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Radio Frequency / RF devices, and other technology within the four walls of the building.
- Communicating with IT support, as needed, for configurations or help desk assistance.
- Leading a team of supervisors and teammates, being responsible for their performance and reviews.
- Planning and managing inventory control functions for the building.
- Conducting daily cycle counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Assisting the Operations Team with requests for changes in the system.
