The Position
Napa County is currently recruiting to fill one Aging & Disability Program Manager (Working Title : In-Home Supportive Services Program Manager) vacancy within the Comprehensive Services for Older Adults Division (CSOA) of Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA).
A Program Manager is responsible for the management of a program area that includes a series of inter-related projects or functional areas of significant depth and complexity. Positions in a Program Manager class lead the administration and implementation of program activities to ensure that the program successfully meets identified objectives.
This class works collaboratively with other agency and county managers and supervisors on program planning, and the delivery of program services. Primary areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supervision and training of supervisory staff, monitoring programs for compliance, and establishing and managing contracts for services. Incumbents also provide oversight for the development of community services, and partnerships with service providers.
This recruitment is being conducted to fill one full-time vacancy. The list established by this recruitment may also be used to fill current and future full-time, part-time, limited term, and extra help vacancies for up to one year. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Experience and Education : To qualify for this classification, an individual must possess any combination of experience and education that would likely produce the required knowledge and abilities. A desirable combination is :
License or Certificate : Possession of a valid California Driver's License. Any license, certification, or registration required for this position shall be maintained (i.e. active and in good standing) at all times during employment with Napa County.
