OBJECTIVE
The Store Manager is a true business owner for their store. They are responsible for leading managing and continuously developing all aspects of their stores business. They are accountable for creating and maintaining a positive and highly productive work environment that aligns with the companys mission. They will be responsible for consistently achieving sales & profitability goals operational objectives merchandising standards and developing a highly successful Sales Operations and Visual team.
Business Leader
- Develop and execute the stores retail strategies
- Local market knowledge of clientele base and brand competitors
- Aware of business trends that relate to the success of the store
- Demonstrate strong business acumen through KPIs to develop and support business driving strategies
- Lead team by leveraging company tools incentives & strategies to support meeting sales goals
People Leader
Ensure that the store team exudes ALOs mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to our guests who we are what we do and why we do what we doDevelops an environment of growth accountability and inclusivity through development performance management training and consistent coachingConducts talent analysis of colleagues and establish career progression plans for key players and positions to result in retention of best talent and turnover reductionEstablish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategyOperations Leader

5 years of retail or related industry leadership experienceWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel and Outlook)Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and writtenHighly Motivated by driving business in a fast-paced innovative environmentIndependent work ethic time management skills and personal accountabilityAligns with and embodies ALOs Guiding PrinciplesBusiness owner mindset with an entrepreneurial spiritRequires constant movement in and around all areas of storeAbility to lift push carry or otherwise move up to 50 poundsAbility to lift bend kneel climb crawl and / or twist and safely climb up / down a ladderAbility to stand and move for an entire shiftStore Manager Schedule
To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams we expect all full-time employees to have open availability and are expected to work variable shifts including peak days and weekends. All employees without exception are expected to be able to work during the companys Blackout period from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (the 1st week of January).
