Description : Job Title : Starbucks Team LeaderTeam : StarbucksReports To : Starbucks ManagerFLSA Status : Full-Time; Non-ExemptJob SummaryThe Starbucks Team Leader oversees Starbucks partners daily tasks and maintains an attractive and well-stocked store. Prepares beverages to Starbucks standards while providing efficient and excellent guest service. Under the direction of the Starbucks Manager, the Starbucks Team Leader is responsible for performing the following duties : Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDeliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with Rock City Enterprises mission, culture, and values.Model the values of the Culture of Excellence and serve as a role model in guest and partner interactions.Performs normal barista duties and ensures that opening and closing procedures are followed.Maintains a Clean, Safe, and Ready store that is up to Georgia Health Department and Starbucks Food Safety Assessment standards.Maintains Serve Safe CertificationCoaches baristas on their role in keeping a clean bar, back of house, and caf.Ensures daily time, temperature, transfer, and waste controls are followed.Ensures health codes and safety standards are followed to maintain a high health score.Assists with conducting inventory and maintaining stock.Assists with placing and receiving orders, as needed.Sends daily financial reports to accountingConducts Starbucks on-the-job training programs for baristas and barista trainers training as needed.Enforces both Starbucks and Rock Citys employment policies and procedures. Serves as a positive example by always complying with these policies.Serves as point of contact to respond to customer requests, feedback, and questions in the absence of the manager, doing so in a manner that reflects excellence and professionalism to achieve positive outcomes, keeping the manager informed of feedback from both guests and partners.Coaches Starbucks partners as needed. Keeps Starbucks Manager informed of any partner issues.Facilitates Starbucks and RCE communication with the team to ensure that communication is up to date and accurate.Submits maintenance / facilities requests, when needed.Oversees daily supervision of partners, along with the manager and other team leaders, motivating and leading them in accordance with our Culture and Values.Performs other duties as assigned by management, as well as any duties performed by Barista Trainer, when trainer is not present.Requirements : QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED preferredMinimum 1 year experience in retail and / or restaurant environment preferredKnowledge & SkillsStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and oversee others.Possesses an outgoing, friendly personality and the desire to provide quality service to internal and external guests.Ability to lead up to 15 partnersMust have completed the Starbucks Barista training and be Starbucks Barista CertifiedAbility to display a professional, engaging, and polite image to guests and partners.Ability to speak effectively in one-on-one and small group situations knowing youre your feedback and input is important to the team.Ability to read and understand operational documents.Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, efficient environment.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentRegular use of hands and fingers.Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently.Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds.Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.Company Mission & Core ValuesMission : To create Memories worth Repeating for our Guests and our Partners.Core Values : Innovation | Communication | Learning | Appreciation | Accountability | ProactivityCompensation details : 19-10 Hourly WagePI2edb86026af8-29952-38985247 #FalseRequiredPreferredJob IndustriesOther
