Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work day shifts Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

    • \n

  • 5x8 hour shifts per week for 13-week assignment

    • \n

  • Call requirements : minimum 1 weekday per week and weekend rotation

    • \n

  • On-call shifts Monday-Friday 3 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM, weekends 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • 2+ years of operating room experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

    • \n

  • Experience required with general, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, and trauma procedures

    • \n

  • Adult and pediatric experience required

    • \n

  • Function as OR circulator demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment

    • \n

  • Work as member of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room technicians

    • \n

  • Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases

    • \n

  • Supervise personnel delivering patient care

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 1

    • \n

The facility provides comprehensive surgical services and maintains high standards for patient care in accordance with state nursing practice acts, AORN guidelines, and regulatory standards.
