Local Contract Nurse RN - Telemetry - $54-60 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Unit Specifics :

Hospital Specifics-

Requested Skill Set : One previous successful travel nursing assignment, 30 months RN or LPN nursing experience

Must have : Ability to care for 6 Telemetry patients / post cardiac procedures to include : PCI, PPM, ICD or Ablations. Proficient in reading telemetry strips. Time management to include plans of care every shift, collaboration with physicians and ancillary departments. Discharge planning and patient education.

Advanced skills needed :

Phlebotomy

Nurses administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU (Respiratory treatments : inhalers and nebulizers)

Foley Catheter care and maintenance (with nurse driven protocols for removal)

Telemetry and Post Cath Lab patients

Procedures performed on unit :

Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS required, NIH stroke scale certification required.
