As we continue to expand, we are seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer with strong leadership experience to oversee day-to-day operations and drive the continued success of our regional office.

Position Summary

The Regional Structural Engineering Manager / Senior Structural Engineer (PE) will serve as the primary technical and operational leader of the Fort Myers office, reporting directly to the Vice President. This individual will be responsible for leading the structural engineering team, managing project execution, ensuring technical quality, and fostering a high-performance culture.

This is a pivotal leadership position within the firm, ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives under deadlines, performs exceptionally in high-pressure environments, and is passionate about developing teams, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the structural engineering division within the regional office.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, EITs, and drafters to ensure continued professional growth and technical excellence.
• Review, sign, and seal structural drawings, calculations, and reports in compliance with applicable codes and firm standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure consistent quality and timely completion.
• Support business development efforts by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Vice President and other department leaders on staffing, workflow management, and strategic planning.
• Oversee QA / QC processes and enforce adherence to company design and documentation standards.
• Contribute to the continued refinement of internal systems, procedures, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Active Professional Engineer (PE) License required, Florida licensure preferred or ability to obtain via comity.

8+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering design and project management.

Proven record of leadership in managing engineering teams or office operations.

Strong technical expertise in commercial, residential, and mixed-use building design.

Demonstrated ability to thrive under deadlines and in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Proficiency in industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, or equivalent).

Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized and self-motivated, with a focus on accountability and results.

Base Pay : $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
