Description :
The Staff Nurse RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes.
The nurse develops, implements, and evaluates patients' plans of care.
This role creates an atmosphere that supports the mission : To care, To heal, To educate.
As the primary caregiver, the Staff Nurse RN provides direct patient care.
The nurse works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician, and the patient / family to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
The incumbent has access to confidential patient information.
The nurse makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others.
The Staff Nurse RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager.
The nurse also works under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Travelers may be asked to float to similar units or other locations.
Holiday coverage is required.
