What You'll Do : Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors as per site-specific protocols. Assist in implementing security-related procedures and policies tailored to the needs of a utilities location. Provide customer service by addressing questions and concerns from staff, contractors, and visitors in a professional manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, utilizing problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and identify any irregularities. Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or hazards observed during patrols or while monitoring access points. Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment at the utilities location. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control or badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
