Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center Oncologist provides outpatient chemotherapy and infusions and is a solo provider. There is a midlevel provider who helps with patient flow orders etc. No hospital consults required with remote call. MD can work directly with ER physician or hospitalist for any admissions. No oncology inpatient services at local hospital. RATE CAPS FOR SUBMISSION : Malpractice Must be included in rates.Orientation 295 =half the hourly / callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour oforientation or training beyond 8 hours Hourly 590 - Per hour not OT Holiday 885 - Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. Per holiday hour no OT Nightly Call 650 - Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis Holiday Nightly Call - 975 - Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hoursgratis On Call Daily 4100 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis 24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - 6150 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratisCall Back 590 Per hour ofpatient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSAterms. Holiday Call Back 885 Per holiday hour of patient contacthours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms. Schedule / Availability Requirements : Dec 1-21 may have additional gaps in 2026Schedule : M-Th 7 : 30AM-5 : 30PM with night call then 24hr remote call coverage Fri-Sun Facility Location : Oxnard CASetting : Outpatient clinicFTE : 1.0 FTEDuties : All aspects of Diagnosis Staging Precision Medicine symptom management and Treatment of Hematology / Oncology Patients. MD oversight for both the Oncology / Hematology clinic and Infusion Services. Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments. Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Blood / Platelet transfusions Hormone therapy Antibiotic Therapy Rheumatoid Arthritis injections and Therapeutic Phlebotomies. Required Procedures : N / A. EMR : iKnowmed Clinic and Cerner InfusionSupport Staff : 1- clinic RN 2-MAs 2-front office clerks 1-quality analyst / billing and 3 infusions RNs. Currently have a long-term NP who works the M-F 8-5. NP covers any infusions on Fridays and the occasional Friday appt.Reason for Coverage : Locum coming up on 1 yearDeal breakers do not present this : Ineligible or not Board Certified in Oncology and Hematology. MD must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology Travel Preferences : Preferred Lodging : Air Travel : Local no flights? Preferred Credentialing Information : Timeframe : 30-60 daysRequirements : MSO requires the application completed within 3 days of being confirmed despite the start date! Credentialing with other facilities? NoBilling enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility : Average daily census : 15-21 patients Mon-Thurs shared between the MD and NP with 3 / 4 of appointments going on the MD schedule.Current call coverage : 24 / 7 each week with around 5 calls per day 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request) Certification Requirements : Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.
