We are hiring for a Shop Technician in our Brewster, NY facility. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment while ensuring our technicians have access to the tools and resources they need. The Shop Technician is also responsible for facility maintenance, vendor coordination, and providing backup support to the Parts Department as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop and stockroom.
• Safely handle shipping and receiving duties using a powered industrial truck.
• Conduct regular facility audits and ensure a safe, healthy work environment.
• Support Field Service Technicians with parts deliveries, oil and coolant replenishment, and used oil disposal in compliance with regulations.
• Assist technicians on jobs as needed.
• Coordinate with external vendors for building maintenance, housekeeping, and waste management.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility and grounds.
• Assist the Parts Department with orders, inventory management, and parts lookups.
• Support emergency response efforts within and outside company territories as needed.
• Cross-train to provide backup support for the Parts Coordinator position as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
