Detention Deputy

Detention Facility Supervisor

Seeking a team player to supervise and manage inmates in a Detention Facility. Deputies oversee the daily activities and care of inmates to include all associated tasks in providing an overall safe and secure environment for both staff and inmates. Deputies also provide armed transportation of inmates for medical appointments, court hearings, and to and from other facilities. Deputies will go through a field training program for duties within the facility, and will complete a 6-week course at the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy. The training will be paid for by the Sheriff's Office. Located in : Lander, WY

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to pass a physical fitness test
• Must be able to pass a drug test, a psychological examination, a formal background check, including a full NCIC criminal check and have no felony convictions
• Shift work to include weekends, nights, and holidays is required

Compensation / Benefits
